god is not boring

Are You bored with God?!

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts; you double-minded. James 4:8 ESV

God is Not Boring

He is The Ancient of days.

He is Alpha and Omega.

He is The First, Every good thing in between, and The Last.

He is The Father of Lights and The Daystar.

He is a mother to the motherless and a father to the fatherless. He is the cool that walked through the garden in the book of Genesis, for He is The Rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley. He is the absolute reason for everything and everyone under the sun.

He is The Creator of all creation that crafted and created you to be creative. He is the sunrise and the sunset. He is The Lover of your soul. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all at the same time. He is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient.

Meaning, He alone is all-knowing and able to do anything at any given time because he is present everywhere, all at the same time. He is The One that cannot be bound by man or defined by titles. He is The true and living God.

For He is The God that came off his throne in eternity, stepped down into time, wrapped himself up in the flesh, and humbled himself so much that the very breast He created, he nursed from whom later became The Savior of the world. Ah yes, that’s right. For He alone is God, and beside Him, there is no other!

Therefore, my brethren, I say unto you again, God is not boring. Nor is he bored with you!

Real revelations

I admit that we get bored with God based on our limited perception of who we think God is. When we believe we have God all figured out, we become stagnant in Spirit and feel like we’ve discovered everything we need to know about God. This, my friend, is the furthest thing from The Truth!

In short, how you perceive God determines how you receive Him! Beloved, how do you perceive Him? I admit for the longest I perceived God as nothing more than “The Man upstairs,” that is until I got to know Him for myself on a more intimate level.

My dear brother, my sister, to know God for yourself, you must be intentional. Intentional about spending His time on Him. Intentional about talking and praying to Your Father who art in heaven. Intentional about getting to know God for who He is and allowing Him to be Lord over your life.

Beloved, did you know that being intentional about God requires self-discipline, a heart that is open to receive, and effort on your part?

The problem with this is that our carnality, satanic schemes, and the like constantly stand in the way of us drawing near God and The Holy Spirit.

What I mean by this is that our corrupted flesh and conflicted mindset don’t want to bow down and yield to The Spirit of Truth and the things of God.

When this happens, our flesh wins, yet again. I admit being a spiritual being on a human voyage is quite the complexity.

More than the Holy Spirit

What I love most about God is that He does not treat us the way we treat Him. He is full of unconditional love, compassion, mercy, and infinite grace.

The good news is that it’s not too late for you to establish a relationship with your Heavenly Father!

Regardless of how far you may have strayed away from your Father or turned your back on God, realize and recognize that He’s never lost sight of you.

For you are always on His mind, and you remain in the palm of His hand. Don’t allow the enemy to hypnotize you into believing that God doesn’t care about you or love you-that is a lie from the fiery pits of hell.

As His child, know that you are the apple of His eye; therefore, He yearns and desires to have a more intimate relationship and connection with you.

Beloved, I hope that you will not allow yourself ever to think you know God in the fullness of His Glory because none of us ever will.

My prayer is that you will discover new ways to connect with nature and all of His creations, gain meaningful relationships with like-minded and spirit-led individuals, and most importantly may you seek his face and bask in the fullness of His Love, Glory, and Presence today and forever.

For you are the one whom Jesus loves!
