FATHER’S DAY is coming in HOT ya’ll and we are literally T-minus 2 days away from honoring that oh-so-special man in our lives. Outside of being a protector, teacher, provider, disciplinarian, and comforter; A FATHER’S LOVE IS UNMATCHED AND MEANS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING TO THOSE NEAR AND DEAR TO HIM! This degree and measure of unconditional love deserves to not only be appreciated but celebrated! Woot! Woot! Whether that special man in your life is your biological father, grandfather, stepfather, foster dad, husband, coach or simply a man that has provided you (or your child(ren) with security, emotional support, and sound wisdom, HE deserves to be showered with nothing but love, respect, and admiration on his extra special day, BUT wait there’s more! All jokes aside, Dads sacrifice so much for us throughout the duration of our lives here on Earth. Therefore, what type of gift, what treasure, could ever serve as a true token of our appreciation? The trick here is thinking about who your Dad is. What does he like to do in his downtime? Outside of being a Dad, what does he enjoy doing and love the most? What are some of his favorite hobbies? What is that one thing that he’s been talking about for ages, but hasn’t obtained or attained just yet? While these questions may seem a bit far-fetched or even cliche you’ll hopefully be able to plan the MOST MEMORABLE DAY for your Dad!

• PREPARE Him A Delicious Breakfast

  – The myth is true ladies and gentlemen: “THE WAY TO A MAN’S HEART IS LITERALLY THROUGH HIS STOMACH. Am I right about it? Whatever your dad’s favorite breakfast foods are season with love and serve” DID YOU KNOW THAT breakfast is not only the first meal of the day, but also the most important meal of the day? Talk about a great way to kickstart Father’s Day by making Dad’s tummy and heart happy!
  
  

• MAKE Him A Card-

  Okay, okay, I know what you’re gonna say and even think here. Making your dad a card is a bit childish and even cheesy but no, not really. At least, not if you do it right by putting both heartfelt emotions and pure thought into it. By personally letting that man in your life know that he is both seen and valued. And doing that on Father’s Day is perfect. Hey and if you want to take it a step further add some cash inside of that cardstock. I mean c’mon WHO on God’s Green Earth doesn’t need money? Chile times is hard and well you know…inflation.

• GIVE Him Rest-

  Being a man of many hats is quite the task. I personally don’t know because I, myself, am not a man, but from witnessing testosterone in my own home, being a part of the male species looks and is quite daunting, to say the very least. On this day, give him rest. Men are so used to just going and going and going (cues Energizer bunny’s drum) that people and life hardly ever give them to just just unwind or simply “be.” Tidy up the house for him. Go get his car detailed. Take his clothes to the cleaners. Yet regardless of what you decide to do, make sure your old man gets some much  needed ZZZ’s! Not only does he deserve it, but he needs it!

• SPEND Quality TIME

  – Time is living proof that life is steadily passing us all by. There is nothing more precious than time because when it is not spent wisely, it is forever wasted. Time is so precious yet more times than not we take it for granted. If you are willing and able to do so set aside some time out of your day and spend it with and on your Dad.Even if you are unable to be with him physically, a phone call would melt his heart and surely brighten his day!

• SERVE Him- 

  “ I don’t want to feel loved and appreciated.” Said NO ONE EVER. Remember to make his day all about him and him ONLY. By catering to that special man in your life he will feel like he’s on top of Mt. Everest. Hey , like I always say when in doubt, BUY A GROUPON! Regardless of who you are, wherever you are in the world, and whatever you’re interested in, there’s a Groupon for that very thing! Consider taking him out to see a movie or perhaps scheduling him a day of self-care and pampering. FATHERS NEED PAMPERING TOO! There is nothing more masculine than a well-groomed man. Remember that when a man looks good, he feels even better about himself!
  

 Regardless of what you decide to do or even give, remind him that him simply being is enough. No tie, toolkit, or tube socks can compare to that!
