28 August Streaming Releases You Need to Binge Before Summer 2026 Ends

I have to say it…summer 2026 is almost over.

I know, I know. It just started. Where did the time go?

Before we trade our beach trips for school buses, early mornings and, let’s be honest, the repetitive “When is Labor Day again?” there is still time to squeeze in a little R&R (rest and relaxation for you Gen Alphas). And that, of course, includes TV shows and movies.

Just because we’re school-supply shopping doesn’t mean we have to give up our favorite streaming services. August still has fun in store for everyone. Whether it’s action, family nostalgia, or something new, there is something for everyone after a long day.
