Met Gala Monday is here and self-proclaimed “image architect” Law Roach is toasting in style with a new cocktail called Luxury on Spring Street. The drink was created in collaboration with The Dominick Hotel in SoHo and features a blend of ingredients that are fruity and spiced in each sip. (A cocktail in hand while taking in looks from this year’s Black dandyism theme sounds like the perfect way to celebrate at home!) We have all the scoop on this cocktail and Law’s recipe that’s sure to unlock your inner bartender.
More on Law’s cocktail collaboration with and the Dominick
In April, it was announced that Law created Luxury on Spring Street with the beverage team at the Dominick. It features a mix of Johnnie Walker with yellow dragon fruit syrup, orange bitters and a turmeric tincture. So, if you love an Old Fashioned or other whiskey cocktails this might be right up your alley.
Law brought his own flair to this drink by selecting the ingredients and using his day-to-day life as inspiration. “As Law puts it, the cocktail is sultry like his style, colorful like his personality, and vibrant like all the places we aspire to visit, vibrant like all the places we aspire to visit,” the drink description reads.
The drink launched on May 1 and is available all month long at the Dominick’s food and beverage outlets, including the Vestry Restaurant. But, you can make it yourself in a few minutes before the stars grace the Met Gala red carpet tonight.
