This year, the 78th Golden Globes was a virtual affair, due to the rising concerns of Covid-19. Host Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were hosting from the Rainbow Room in New York and the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, where they were joined by dressed-up presenters like Ava DuVernay, Colin Farrell, Sandra Oh and Tracy Morgan. However, the nominees appeared on video chat.
Now just because the celebrities were in the comfort of their own homes doesn’t mean they didn’t want to dress to the nines for one of the biggest award shows. Even with no red carpet, looks were still served, and stars did not come to play, especially on social media, where stars like Regina King, Leslie Odom Jr, and Daniel Kaluuya blessed Golden Globes’ IG feed.
