The Nordstrom Anniversary is here again and I know we all are super stoked. Now is the time to stock up on all of your beloved beauty buys, home essentials and coveted designer styles at up to 40 percent off. Yes many brands are having sales right now so what’s so great about this one. Glad you asked? Most other retailers are only discounting last seasons goods. The highlight of Nordstrom’s biyearly sale is it includes much of the new season. So unclutch your purses and shop all of the must buys from the sale.
The sale has early access for selected cardmembers which started August 4th and to all cardmembers August 13th. The sale opens for everyone starting August 19th. I know this is still a few weeks away but Nordstrom has implemented a new wish list feature. Now everyone can preview the sale with early access and heart all of your favorites. This will make it super fast and easy to shop your favorites once the sale officially starts.
Beauty:
This is probably one of the most popular categories to shop for during the sale. Beauty is such a big industry and this is the best time to stock up on your favorites; many brands that normally do not go on sale. Stock up on your favorite skincare and makeup, while the prices are insanely reasonable. I especially love the option of gift and travel sets during these sales. These sets usually consist of the most popular item sold with a few wildcards. This allows you to sample items you may have wanted to try without feeling disappointed or like you’ve wasted your money. Check out the YSL lipstick below. You should also plan on snatching up the washable microfiber make up pads that come with it’s own dainty laundry bag. I love how smart and economical it is.
Fragrance(Home and Body)
Now is the time to stock up on your favorite signature scents. Or if you don’t have one, a great time to start experimenting to find one. Here are a few of my faves or on my wish list for home and body. They are tried and true and some coveted by many. Victor and Rolfe Flowerbomb, Valentino Donna Born in Roma and Chanel Bleu are amongst my favorites in fragrance. And if you love smell goods for the home, Nest is a great pick. But if you are looking for one to fal in love with, and my personal favorite; The Volupsa candles are a must. The scents are so good and the packaging is luxurious. Grab a couple of these while they’re on sale; you won’t be disappointed.
Fall Must Haves:
Don’t forget about your favorite accessories and shoes. One can never have too many shoes, right. Fall is right around the corner so it’s not too early to start thinking about coats, hats, boots and all the layering pieces you need to get ready for the season.
