As we awaited the ARRIVAL OF THE band, WHO WAS running late after getting in at 2am from a show the night before. I could not wait to meet them.

See,The Paradox is a punk pop band of four Black members. In an era where the pundits say rock-n-roll is dead. This overnight success is here to bring it back to life.

They remind me that Black people continue to prove whatever you cannot redline us out, keep us out, or kick us out of, we prove to be the best at it. When they could no longer keep us out of Baseball, Barry Bonds becomes the greatest player in the sport.

When golf courses have to take down their White only signs, Tiger Woods becomes the greatest to ever do it. When a Black father puts his Black daughters in Tennis, yup you guessed it, they become the greatest to ever do it. This feels a lot like that.
