NAACP Image Awards 2024: Best Looks

The 2024 NAACP Image Awards aired live on March 16 celebrating black culture and achievement across the world of arts.

Categories for the awards included Social Media Personality, Entertainer of the Year, Motion Picture, Television, Writing, MakeUp, Hair, and Costume. Podcast, Literature, Directing, Stunt Ensemble, Documentary, Outstanding songs, albums, music videos and more.

Of course, creators had to pregame on the red carpet, with some fashionable host like Nautari Naughton, Novi Brown, and Terrance J.

Kyla Pratt, Tichina Arnold, Quinta Brunson, and Coco Jones hit the red carpet in all-white looking Godly. Many celebs like Idris Elba, Damson Idris, Usher, Yara Shahidi, Jonathon Majors, Megan Good, Bobbie Brown, and Ronnie DeVoe suited up in all black.

Another popular color for the night was purple with a splash of red and blue. India Amarteifio, a black artist and winner of the “Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series Award,” came draped in pattern print from head to toe.

The classic event itself was hosted by Queen Latifah. Usher was honored with the 2024 President’s Award, which recognizes moguls for their special attainment and distinguished public service. Undoubtedly, many icons gathered together to celebrate the winners of each category.

Even though everybody came dressed to kill the runway, arrival fashion was not on the award list. Some looks stood out more than others and for those they will receive their flowers here.
