Inspired by the hillsides of the Los Angeles neighborhood “Los Feliz” Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God has officially announced their “easy, elevated fluidity” collaboration with Birkenstock 1774, the German heritage brand’s special projects and collaboration unit.
“We’re always attempting to create a product that’s rooted in function and necessity, that is preceded by a clear aesthetic point of view.”
The shoe gives us two premium uppers – calf suede and wool felt. This material results in a high-end luxury look thanks to its smooth and delicate feel. The sandal has a cork-latex foot bed and deep heel cups. Incorporating a monolithic strap closure, the shoes inside sole fits comfortably. The shoe has brand markings of Birkenstock and Fear of God honoring their Collab with fine edgy translucent rubber outsoles.
Made in Germany, “Los Feliz” for adults are available in suede Taupe, Cement and Ash, and kids in suede Taupe will be available at fearofgod.com on January 25. This is the first BIRKENSTOCK’S 1774 Collaboration that are kid appropriate.
