The 2021 Oscars were one of the few events to be held in-person rather than virtual since COVID-19 became our new reality. The women were the limelight of the red carpet all looking incredible. Reds, golds, whites and midriffs were the trend for the 93rd Oscars.

Day wore a custom metal dress by Vera Wang Haute. Day walked the carpet like her dress was light as a feather. Looking like an Oscar herself, she stunned the carpet with her beautiful updo and glamorous makeup. Day was nominated for Best Actress.

Amanda Seyfried
Following the red color trend, Seyfried looked chic with a plunging neckline in an Armani gown with a deep maroon lip and an old school deep parted Hollywood hairdo. Seyfried was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

Carey Mulligan
Another golden girl of the night. Mulligan wore a Valentino Couture dress paired with chunky Cartier gold earrings with subtle, yet beautiful makeup. Mulligan’s Cariter ring took 350 hours and earrings 438 hours to make .Mulligan was nominated for Best Actress.

Maria Bakalova
Bakalova aimed for a romantic look wearing a Louis Vuitton white dress drawing your eyes to her waist with the dress flowing out. Paired with a bold deep red lip and brown eyeshadow, she definitely achieved her romantic look. Bakalova was nominated for Best Supoorting Actress.

Regina King
The host of the night looked amazing in this unique blue colored Louis Vuitton dress that took 140 hours to make with over 4,000 crystals. King’s short hair was the icing on the cake to take this look to the next level with her subtle lip, letting her eyes do all the talking.

Zendaya
Zendaya always understands the assignment. Following the midriff trend, Zendaya looked stunning in a Valentino Couture dress. Her long hair blowing in the wind truly made her look like a superstar. Paired with a pendant necklace and a bronze makeup look, she was a huge talk of the night.

H.E.R
Ladies and gentlemen, H.E.R. H.E.R looks bright and powerful in this deep blue Dundas paintsuit in tribute to her favorite artist, Prince. H.E.R won Best Original Song for her song, Fight for You.

Basset wore a Alberta Ferretti vibrant red dress with bow-tie like puffy sleeves with a thigh split paired with deep blue eyeshadow made this look *chefs kiss*

Emerald Fennell
Fennell steamed Springtime in this whimsical green and pink sparkle Gucci dress. Paring her dress with a nude lip and purple eyeshadow and wearing her hair down, she looked effortlessly beautiful. Fennel won her nomination for Original Screenplay for her movie, Promising Young Women.
